ABOUT US

London Citadel was opened in 1882 and stands as the oldest active Salvation Army corps in the Canada and Bermuda Territory.

Since that time, London Citadel has been active in the community creating helping those in need.

Our territorial mission reminds us of why we exist.

This informs our territorial vision, which gives us direction and guides us in the decisions we need to make in order to fulfill our mission.

Our mission and vision are underpinned by our territorial values, supported by our territorial strategy and inspire our London Citadel commitments, which articulate how we will deliver our mission, live our values and accomplish our vision in our unique contexts.

MISSION

The Salvation Army exists to share the love of Jesus Christ, meet human needs and be a transforming influence in the communities of our world.

VISION

We are an innovative partner, mobilized to share hope wherever there is hardship, building communities that are just and know the love of Jesus.

CORE VALUES

There are three core values of our faith:

Salvation, Holiness and Intimacy with God.

Rooted in these three values are the four core operational values which guide all aspects of The Salvation Army in Canada & Bermuda:

Hope - We give hope through the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Service - We reach out to support others without discrimination.
Dignity - We respect and value each other, recognizing everyone's worth.
Stewardship - We responsibly manage the resources entrusted to us.
